This song is from one of the most popular Hindu Devotional albums in Malayalam - "Mayilpeeli' and starts with the sacred sloka from 'Narayaneeyam'. Gana Gandharvan Shri Yesudas had rendered it with his heart. When I went for audition at the BMG Crescendo studio in 2004, they asked me to sing a devotional song, and I immediately chose this one since I have been hearing and loving this song from my childhood days.
